The latest edition of Harry Potter is currently making waves in the city of Accra at the Silverbird cinemas. Many movie fans keep trouping to the cinemas every day since the movie started showing over the weekend.
Silverbird Ghana currently tops the box office chart across East and West Africa beating all competitors including Lagos and Nairobi where movie culture, just a few months ago before the introduction of Silverbird in Accra, was much more entrenched than it was in Ghana. Silverbird Ghana has certainly come to deliver quality entertainment and Ghanaians are more than excited to embrace the revolution.

| Ghanaian movie producer/writer/director Shirley Frimpong-Manso is changing the game! She is pushing the boundaries with her new flick ‘The Perfect Picture‘. The romantic comedy stars Jackie Appiah, Lydia Forson, Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku, Chris Attoh, Adjetey Annang, Nana Kwame Osei-Sarpong and KSM.
The movie can be likened to ensemble African-American romantic comedies such The Best Man and Soul Food as it delves into the loves and lives of a group of friends. The trailer does not give away much about the plot but the production standards are slicker than the average Nollywood/Ghallywood movie.
